This month I'm going away from video games to old school card/ board games type of games. As well as this is a two-for-one since both of these games and having their first look at and are both similar in theme. Now on to the games the first game of the review is Here to slay which is a D&D style card game that is made by the same people who made unstable unicorns. The artwork on the cards is a cute style that I love if you ever seen a tee springs shop think that style. If you like D&D but don't have that many people to play or don't have time to set up the next game night this is a good alternative so far I only play once with just my husband but both of us had fun taking down all the monsters.
The second game is Dragonwood this is another card D&D style game where it one on one playstyle. This one I will say the rules are convoluted and can be confusing at times and has more of a dice element to it so if you like rolling dice then either one of these games has to there, but this one you is more of a Yahtzee style with card thing but condensed like the large and small straight and have all of one number and colors but once you get playing it fun and joy to play even if you lose which I did on my and my husband play though of the games
I think Both of these games will be regulars for when I and my husband want to do game night for just the two of us. overall I give Here to slay 5 stars and Drangonwood 4 stars simply because the rules are word confusingly
This month's book review is over Dark Treasures by Sergio Gomez this is a short story collection all written by Gomez. Now some of these stories were slow to me, but there were some stories I enjoyed. This book has something for everyone killer clowns, monsters, and aleins.
This month's review is over the first season of American Horror Story
season one of AHS is a bunch of stories surrounding the people who lived in the house. We tie all these stories together with the people wh currently living in the house. Now being a horror show it full of death. There are a few sexual scenes so maybe not for younger viewers. Murder house deals with a lot of dark themes. Cheating, murder, cutting. Now rewatching this season is not that scary it more on the darker side and suspenseful than anything else. overall I give it 4 stars not scary but I enjoy the twisted stories and characters in this story none of them are really likable so your not too mad when they well I'm not going to say anything else. overall if you enjoy horror and want the scares this won't do it but if you want something to binge watch and figure out how everything is connected then this season of AHS is for you. Happy watching
