Book Review... That Summer

This week's book review is over That Summer by Sarah Dessen. This is the first book I've read by her and I like it. It not what I typically each for but it a good light read about a girl going though to much for her own age. The main character is a 15 year old girl who keeps everything in while her world is changing all around her. Now the rest of the character where flaw  the older sister was full of her self and self center though out the book then show the a softer side at the very end. the mother seems to be a loose nut that trying to hide her pain. the father is a asshole who won't even get out of the car to see if she okay and is more involved with his new fresh family that younger then his old one. there are other characters that are flawed like the best friend that don't care what going on in her friend life. it a typical teen life really taking on every one else and holding it in until it all just come out in an explosion. over all 5 out of 5 stars.
