This weeks book review is over Across the Universe The first in the Across the Universe series by Beth Revis. This is a Si-Fi dystopian world it set in the future on a ship heading to a new planted. The book goes between two point of view Amy a girl from earth that is frozen along with her parents, and Elder who was born on the ship and the future leader of the ship. both are around the age of 16, 17 years old. This book for me had moment where I was slow but toward the end I couldn't put it down at all. Now some of the ways thing were run on this ship piss me the fuck off big time so maybe that why it took me so long to read it cause I get so mad I'd had to put the book down that and the fact I do read other books. The current leader of the ship make me want to jump in the book a punch him to death. Controlling every thing isn't power it fear of being a true leader if you ask me. This is also my first young adult book that is Si-Fi I've read and the only other Si-Fi book I've read is The Host ( there a review for both the movie and book on here.) Now I wouldn't want to live in this world by any means at least from the way it portray in the book will see with the next one which I'll pick up next time I go to the library. Over all I give this book a 4 out of 5 stars and recommend this book. and note to reader keep reading past the first 50ish pages are so because it not that intriguing it get better though.
