Today’s review will be over Heidi by Johanna Spyri my copy
was adapted and condensed by Mary Caprio with illustrated by Jon Sayer. The
story of Heidi is a very good children story that teach money doesn’t always
bring happiness, and that sometimes there no place like home. Heidi is a very
thoughtful child she thinks of other more than she does herself to the point it
causes her to sleep walk because she miss her home so much. When she given
money she spends it on another person so she be able to eat, and when she ask
what she wants towards the end she ask for something for someone else. Her grandfather also known as uncle seems to
be a hard man that Heidi softens and gives him a reason to turn to god. Which
is another theme of sort though out the book that good is always there for you
to turn to no matter what you do and how long you turn your back on him he will
always be there for you when you come “home”. Over all I give this Adaptation
of Heidi 5 stars out of 5 it had me smiling and shaking my head at some of the
crazy things going on and is perfect for a child since the god theme is tone
down. Hello readers, follow me as i tell you about motherhood, reading and some spooky things on here we will talk about life, books, movies, games and tv shows if that your vibes keep on reading
