Book Review: Rumble

Today's book review is over Rumble by Ellen Hopkins. This book i had to take in small doses since it does have some religious themes too it some of them i do not agree with. This book will get you thinking about things but some people might be best to know this book does talk about people being gay and religious factors. Now my self i have nothing against gays at all i have a problem with people who use Religion as a mean to hurt and isolate people in this world. Which does happen in this but not to the main character but his brother was gay and treated horrible by those do gooders. With personal think aside it is another great Hopkins book that give light to a younger adult life who has no real voice in this world. Drug, Prostitution, and Religion topics that in to days age are problems for young adults, but no one really want to talk about. I can relate in a sense to the main character and his parents being MIA in his life then expecting him to pick p the pieces
when lost happen that why at point i just want to throw the book at the wall it dig in and it make you feel what the character feels. Over all i give this book 4 stars out of five simple because it not a favorite of mine but i do think people should read it even though it is faction it does take on real world problems just like all of her young adult books do.
