Book Review: Earthbound

today's review is over Earthbound by Ken Baumann. this is the first book in a series Boss Fight Books now it not a series in a sense of novel as like in fiction this is a non fiction book. This book Wrap up the Author childhood and this history and game play of the game Earthbound in to 184 pages. This books has a conversational tone to it which makes it seem very jumpy at time Baumann jumps from him playing the game to his life to history of the game and possible inspiration for the game. This can be hard to follow like have multiple people talking to you at once, but if you can get past the jumpiness of the writing it is really interesting to say the least now I've never played Earthbound and hadn't of heard of is until my boyfriend lent me this book. Now i'm not going to go out on buy everything so i can play the game, but it has lend me to replay games from my childhood. Which the Author as he does to prepare to write this book. Baumann gives the reader a peak into his childhood and events that has happen recently in his life and recently i mean last 5 years or so. over all i give this book 4 out of five stars simply because i'd pick up the book again, but it not on any must reread list of mine. with that said i'm not sure the point the book trying to make maybe i miss it but it got me looking back at the games i played when i was younger and wanting to play them all over again. that all for this book review write Friday with my weekly wrap up and weekend read post bye now.
