Book Review/ Short Story: Dead Man Stalking

Today's review is over a short story within the Morganville Vampire Series called Dead Man Stalking. This story comes between book 4 and 5 of the series with a scene between Shane and his father. Now personal this story could of not been written because it don't truly add to the story line of the series. The story don't add any back ground or anything like that. Only thing this story does give the reader even more of an understanding of how fucked up Frank ( Shane's Father) can be. The guy is fucking crazy to say the least he really hate vampires and want his family back that he even raise the dead? Frank even kidnap his son and Michel for different reason of course. The only reason i can see this helping the series is that it show Shane become more of an adult and standing up to his father and not falling in to his father trap of controlling him. Over all i give it 4 stars i did like the story and everything i just can't see the point of the story within the series as a whole.
