Reading Talk: Reading Slumps What to do

I get into reading slumps all the times for a variety of reasons. It could be a lot going on in my life to simply not being in the mood to be reading the book I am currently reading. I try most time to push through it and continue reading what I am reading, but sometimes there are days where I won't read a single page or just a page. Now I've been out of school for 5 years... okay, I just made my self feel old but it true. So when I tell myself he a bunch of books I feel like I need to read makes it feel like school ( yet I continue to do that to myself) Now Maybe if I would go with my mood I could take away that source of slumpyness but my brain is the type where I need some type of order, but too much drives me crazy so I'm still trying to find a balance for it So My point is that everyone is different, and have a lot going on in their lives, but here how I try to get out of it.
1. I push through it and yes I know this is really bad to do, but hey I'm not perfect
2. Pick up a different book now this doesn't always help, but it does sometimes
3. get the audiobook this help because there are times in my day I can't physically read a book like driving to work, cleaning and the likes even sometimes when I'm writing my blog I'll listen to an audiobook.
sometimes I just take a break and don't read for a while then carve out a chunk of time and binge read over all slumps suck, but some times you have to go with the flow
