book talk: Yearly challenges

Hey readers, Today we will be talking about all those yearly challenges and goals we set for ourselves and I do it too. Is it a bad thing to set up all these challenges for ourselves yes and no we got to keep in mind that reading should be fun and for most of us it not our full time job it a hobby. a hobby we love to talk about and everything but we got to keep in mind we have a life outside of reading YES I said it we have jobs or school and a family as well as friends that we want time with or who want time with us and not everyone is okay with sitting next to you while you read they want to talk to you. So why do I do challenges it a.) to give me a goal for the year and if i don't hit it it is okay it not the end of the world, and I try to keep in mind that I got other things going on and sometime I don't want to read I want to hang out with my husband and focus on the time with him. B.) my challenges is to pick up books that I haven't looked at in years rather it a reread or a book that been sitting on my self for years. I have new book coming in a lot and there always that new shiny book that just came out that those books that been out for a bit has been put on the back burner and sometime has fallen off the radar completely and yet they are still on my shelves taking up space and I don't know if I liked the book or not. Over all challenges can be a good thing but they can be bad as well if we put to much stock in to them and stress ourselves out over it. with that said let me know if you have any challenges for this year and have a wonderful day read what you love, bye.
