Book Review: The Hobbit

 This is a great book that i felt would be better read out loud then silently to myself. Maybe i am crazy for thinking that but that how i feel. I enjoy the book a lot, but found it to be quite slow at times to the point where i was wondering when it was going to pick up again for a book that less then 300 pages in the edition that i read it a little wonder some when your wondering when i scene going to end and get on with the point. Now i know this is a classic or modern Classic and they tend to be a bit wordy at times so i can slightly over look that it don't get a full point taken off but it is still a negative in my books. I did think Baggins did change though out the book he went from this scared sheltered hobbit to a tired well traveled hobbit. Now with all of that said i did enjoy the book i gave it an over all rating of 3 stars out of 5 stars.
