Book Review: I'll Be the One

 Hello, Readers today post will be a review over I'll be the one by Lyla Lee.

I'll be one is about a girl competing in a K-pop coemption the twist she not a size 0. In I'll be the one we have, Romance, Comedy, and a girl standing up for herself. Sky loves to sing and dance but with her weight the world is trying to keep her in the box they think she should be in. even her own mother keep putting her down for her weight. With that said I will say trigger warning for fatphobia and fat shamming. Now I do not know how authentic the rep is for Koreans I can't speak on this really. With that said I love Our MC Skye She stood up for her self against the world basically and literally had a judge hating on her to her face say she should try harder to lose weight along with her mother, and yes she has self doubt but her shows them and call them out of their B.S. Lee writes a character that people who are plus size can see themselves in and see that they can love themselves too and having hard days are okay. With that said over all I love this book and gave it 5 stars.
