okay since my boy was about four or 5 months old i've been reading to him and he yet to sit still while i read to him really but there a few books i'll always read too him. what i look for is it short, are the picture instresion and go with the story, and if the story more then just random words there a story to it. Don't get me wrong a book that teaches different words are help full but don't call it a story. now i'll read what ever my son pick out i'll read it to him now not promising i won't stumble over my words but i'll try my best

llama llama books we got a few and they are simple and fun to read to little man
i also love the my little fill in the blank books and how to catch books they are cute and simple and fun to read to little man
