Book Talk: Finding old Favorites
Now when I was back in high school and even in college I loved the Vampire Academy/ Bloodline Series, but I stopped reading Bloodlines halfway through the series and I mean literally I read up to book three then stopped for one reason the 4th book wasn't out yet or I didn't have it yet I can't remember it been that long ago. Then once I had the book I'd would always wait for my grandma to read the books first ( i took longer to read the book so I let her read them first so she didn't have to wait on me.) So I would get tired up with other books and then I would forget about the book or my eagerness would fade. Recently I decided to read all the Richelle Mead books I own and have not read yet and with my reading that slow but I Picked up The Fiery Heart and I remember why I love her writing so much. I don't know why I waited almost 5 years to pick up this book. It going to be hard not to just pick up the next book in the series but I want to space them out a little so I don't get burned out, but I know for a fact it won't be 5 years before I read the next book in the series or even the last book or pick up the second book in the Age of X series and start her newest series the Glittering court series. Now I know she has always been a fave of mine it making wounder and cate Teirran I loved her sweep/ Wicca series in middle school/ high school and I got 5 of the other books that she wrote and I wonder if I will still love her writing now. I've done this also recently with Laurie Halse Anderson an author vi loved a few years ago but let slip under the raider, and recently picked up her new book and loved it and started on the only other book I had on my self by her ( that wasn't a graphic novel). Now there are other Authors I love but I kept pretty up to date on their books which are Ellen Hopkins and Jamie McGuire Hopkins I have 2 or 3, and McGuire I have I think 5 books, but I just started getting really into her a few years ago. Overall I find it strange that my personal reading taste has grown yes but I still enjoy some of the same things as I did before
