Faking Perfect
This was a reread for me this year so this will be looking at this at an different lens> Now both times I gave this book 5 stars. Now the reasons are slightly different I still relate to our main character a lot the manipulation and a parent against another after a break up rather it a bad a break up or not is a real thing my father to this day will bad mouth my mother and blame her for everything that went wrong in their relationship Now for context they broke up when I was a few months old and I'm going to be to 30 years old soon so it past time for blame and knowing my father is partly or mostly to blame for every argument they had. Now our MC is only going on 18 years old but her mother is so emotionally abusive to her that she want to take everything or anyone that shows our MC any sort of love. Now before I get in to spoilers and start going in to details about everything this mother does that just isn't okay and is very spiteful I'm going to stop myself because I really do love this book and everything our MC goes though make her stronger and she learns to love herself and I'm proud of her for A. standing up to her mother and B. standing up to her so call friends. and C. learning to love her self over all like I said I gave this book 5 stars mostly for personal reason and I hope you have a wonderful day and read what you love.
