Poe Reads

The first Poe Read is a poem now i read this poem twice i can't tell if it literal and it about a kind haunted it palace or if it reference to Lucifer fall from grace it mention angels more then once and talk about a great war could it be a twist on the wars fought in heaven and was Lucifer king in heaven and lost the fight cause it talks about the palace  being close to paradise then was the wonder is gone after the was and the king is wondering about his palace. i don't know this could just be me reading more in to something that not really there any who it was weird very Poe if you ask me. it was quick for sure i reading it twice within 10 minutes and i'm not a very fast reader at all it not one of the poems/ short stories he known for but still good. well stay tune Wednesday i'll have up my first Goosebump Book Review.

Poe Reads #3: Tell Tale Heart(spoil alert)

Hey readers i know i missed my review Saturdays I've been exhausted this past week and not i got a head cold of some type so right now i'm just trying to make it though work and trying to get better. with that said this week Poe read is Tell tale heart. Now I've read this one a few times over the years for school, but with that said i'm not going to focus so much on what they did. this one is basicly about killing someone who done nothing wrong to your. the the noise he hear at the end could be his own guilt making him her thing or his own heart eating fast cause he knows what he did going back to the guilt thing again. He killed the old man over his eye that it nothing else the old man had never cause him harm or was a jerk to work for the eye just gave the guy the creeps and he let that get the better of him so is he mad probably you like the way someone eye looks make you kill someone you might be a little crazy and 9 times out of 10 when someone says they're not crazy they mostly like are even if it just a little bit. now i'm rambling so i'm going to end this Poe's read so until next time happy readings

Poe Read # 1

Welcome to the first ever Poe read today's read is Annabelle Lee. Now before you all say this is a love poem not horror just this of the words. Just think the poem has death in it it clearly says " chilling and killing my Annabelle Lee." So with death within this poem that is a very quick read. i enjoy that is mixes the slightly creepier side of love. Since is saying the man basicly laid with his dead bride in her grave read the last four line of the poem and you'll see what i mean. it different it show how much the narrator love his lost wife, but give the readers a creepy sense that the man might mot be right in the head.
