book review... the green fairy

This week's review is over The green fairy another short story I got though goodreads. this short story didn't seem to make since we find weed in a bar as a bartender. there is some French words in there and as my French is very rusty I have no clue what is being said. other all another 3 stars and not much to say about it with out giving everything away.

Book Review... The Poison Dairies: Morning Glory

This book review is over a short story Morning Glory I got for free though a message on Goodreads. The short story is from The Poison Dairies trilogy. Now the author is different then the first two book I'm not sure who wrote or is writing the last book. the author of this short story is Hugh Sington. Now it every short it only about 8 pages so very quick read. it was also different because it just about weed and I'm not sure when this short story takes place within the Poison Dairies time line but jasmine isn't it at all even though there is a girl within the story. it also end to soon. if I was going to rate it I'd give it three stars because the storyline was intriguing but cut too short.

 

Book Review... The Poison Diaries

This week's book review is over the Poison Diaries by Maryrose wood and concept by The Duchess of Northumberland. In this story You follow Jesamine and Weed. Jesamine is a daughter of a known "healer" though out Northumberland. Weed is a young man who can talk to plants that is thrust aponed Jesamine and her father. As with most young adult books there is romantic between Weed and Jesamine. they fall for each other as they learn more about each other. then something  tragic hit while jesamine falls ill, or so it would seems.
now time for may rant of sorts the father it this book pissed me off at some times simply because at time he over protected and won't let his daughter grow up while other time he seem careless about his daughter welling to risk her life to get what he wants. then the hmmm Essene i would guess of the poisons plants that seem rude and mocking Weed after he does what they tell him to do so he can save Jesamine. now this book i found a lesson that i don't normal find well to be honest i don't tend to find lessons in my books any more simply because i don't look for them any more but this one will smack you in the face every thing comes with a price and sometimes that price is the one thing you don't want to give up. now over all i liked the book even thought i wasn't so sure i would now don't get me wrong when i picked it up it wasn't for the over but it did intrude me i just had my doubts about it that all. so i give this book 4 out of 5 starts simply because of the father in the story and the begaining was a little slow.
