My Roommate is a Vampire is a Romcom with low spice and I loved every bit of it. This book had me laughing out loud at time it felt just like one of those cheesy romcom movies to watch when your younger *wink Wink* over all I enjoyed this book a lot it not a new fave but I would give it a 4 star rating and I'm looking forward to picking up the next book in the series.

book review: Attached at the Hips
This book is a romcom of survivor meets one of those 2000's lets find love shows. with that said this should of been a book I loved, but it kind of fell flat for me personally. I think it was one of the love interests that did it or maybe the feel like all the characters was either over the top or a wall flower in the background nothing in the middle. now the idea was good and the story it self was captivating but something just kept me from truly loving this book so I gave it three stars I can see people liking this book it just wasn't 100% for me

Book Review: The Other Lola
Hey readers today's I got a review over the other Lola by Ripley Jones. This book had me wondering what in the world was going on. to say the least, but I'll give you a little bit on what this book is about. Lola gone missing five years ago and is now back but is it really Lola that for our gal pals Cam and Blair to figure out. With that said Jones makes you second guess your self at every turn. One minute I'm thinking the girl is Lola the next I'm not so sure everyone looks like they are hiding something who knew Lola. Stories don't line up and our girls Cam and Blair gets them selves once again in a hairy situation. Over all with all the twist going on in this book I gave it 4 stars. I was really into this book it had me hooked and wondering what going on.

Book Review: Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not?
Hey, guys today I'm here with a review over Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not by Thompson Square and Travis Thasther. This book is a romance of love lost then found. In this book, we have altering POV between Daniel and Casey. Daniel is this songwriter who fallen on hard times while Casey is an English high school teacher who has gotten a divorce. This book goes back between what going on now and what happened in the past. Now before I say anything about the problems i had with this book I did enjoy the book in the long run, but there are a few problems. So with that said let get into my problems with this Casey mother she was so hateful to daniel that it not funny and for no reason but because he was in a band and wanted a career in music. two is daniel himself why if you love someone and she telling you to follow your dreams would you let her go? I don't know. Casey is my final problem why the fuck would you stay with someone like burke he a fucking cheater with money and thinks he can do whatever the fuck he wants because he has money. another problem with her is you have daniel who respects you then asshole left and right and for most of the book she chooses the asshole. I think the only reason I enjoy this book was the connection to country music it references some big names in country for sure. Overall it was more of a meh read for me i didn't love it nor didn't hate it 20 January, 2020

Book Review: The Impossible Knife of Memory
Author: Laurie Halse Anderson
Format: Physical
Number of Pages: 391
Thoughts: This book was a slow start for me and then bang it hit me in the feel I at one point like No, this is going to be a sad book isn't it damn it. This book deals with a real mental illness PTSD the main Character father struggle with it, and it bad, really bad. It also deals with not fitting it our main character has been on the road with her father for years and now starting at a public school where she only knows one person from her childhood. Along with what going on with her father her childhood friend is dealing with her parents fighting and separating, and now in a healthy way at all. To top it all off her boyfriend is dealing with his sister who an addict. So with all of this going on it seems a bit much but somehow Anderson brings it all together and makes a great novel it something that makes you see things for how it really is and it doesn't hold back the punches you see how bad Hayley father can get. you see how bad Hayley trying to hold it all together and not get hurt her self. You see the downhill spiral Gracie is going down with her family and you see Finn struggle of being a good son and boyfriend and not trying to tell either person the person they are trying to save don't want to be saved yet.

Book Review: Percy Jackson and the Olympian: The Last Olympian
Book Series name: Percy Jackson and the Olympians
Number in series: 5th and final book
Author: Rick Riordan
Format: Audiobook
Narrator: Jesse Bernstein
Thoughts: This book was a let down for a final book in a series now know there is a spin-off series it still doesn't make it alright to me. it had all this hype in the last four books about this battle that coming and how Percy going to play this big part and it all bull or not what it seems okay... whatever. it just seems anti-climatic and it doesn't stop there oh no it has a final twist Omg just to make thing even more dramatic. I know this is middle grade and kids in this age range it probably works for them and I'm not the age this book is meant for but okay, but the next series is for young adult age and I don't see why he had to do what he did in this book that would leave fan with more question then answers. overall I don't think I'll read this series over again. this vote is still out if I will move on to the next series or not.

Book Review: Shout
I know I said I wasn't going to do reviews that often, but this book deserves its own review not a little oh it okay or I really loved it line in a wrap-up or on Goodreads. Without further do the book that just grabbed me is Shout by Laurie Halse Anderson. Now I heard about this book a few months ago and I remembered loving her books in middle school/ earlier high school and just kind of stop reading her stuff ( I read Most of what my local library had, and got distracted by other books). So when I saw she had a new book coming out I was like cool maybe I'll read it. So when I went to Meijer ( not For books) and saw this just sitting there I picked it up and started reading the book jacket I was shocked that it was a Memoir and so I bought it ( well my husband bought it for me). When I got home I couldn't wait and started reading it and with going between it and the books I was supposed to read this month ( oops). Since I started this book I've been engrossed in the book. it is written in poems which if you read her other stuff is different for her, but it works for this story. Now I don't know what Anderson went through or even the character when though I never been raped, but I know how it is to have someone touch you unwanted as small as it was one of my dad's old friends when I was a child would rub my legs, and one night he tried to feel me up I was able to stop him but what would happen if I wasn't able to I will thankfully not know. People can be mean and hateful. They see the opposite sex as a means to an end and Anderson says it perfectly in this book. It Easy to see that yes this book is a new favorite of mine and now I want to go back and read her other books and maybe even reread the ones I already have. it easily 5 stars for me. Now I know this book isn't for everyone, but she is telling a story that needs to be heard that for sure.

Book Review: Bitter Blood
Hello, fello readers I'm here with a book review over Bitter Blood the 13th book of the Morganville Vampire series by Rachel Caine. This one just was very strange as in one moment I'd totally be into the story and then something would happen and I'd not want to pick up the book and I'd rather read something else. I know that sounds like it was a bad book and it not that it just takes the characters a way that I didn't care for too much. Also, the whole thing just seemed a little recycled and I knew Naomi was going to be a problem, but like come on really how can she be that prowerful and not be noticed beforehand in the other books she is in. I just am over her and her power-hungry ways. overall I gave the book 3 stars out of 5 stars if you have read this book let me know your thoughts in the comments below.19 February, 2019
Book Talk: Book Review
Hey, I'm here with another review today, and that book is Illusions by Aprilynne Pike. Now this book threw me off a bit because I read the first two out of order opps. With that, it has been years since I read the second one so I forgot a few things, but once I got caught up I was hooked. a few things I kind of figure out, but that ending just leaves you hanging for sure so it a good thing I got the next book for sure. Will me not remember what happened in the second book I was lost with the references that they had for both book 1and 2 so I say it is best to read in order and closer together now we will see if I take my own advice or not. with that said I gave this book 4 stars. let me know in the comments if you read this book and your thoughts 18 February, 2019
Book Talk: Book Review
It's review time once again and this time it Red by Alison Cherry. This book is about a girl Felicity St. John whose life seems to be perfect she has it all popularity, hot boyfriend, good friends, but she has a secret that could change everything in this small town she a ... well read the rest of this review and see if you want to read the book to find out. let just say she dyes her hair and in this town where being a redhead it top of the food chain that a big no-no so welcome to scarletville a town built for redheads. Now reading what this book was about being a redhead my self natural I was intrigued. Now this book at time paint redheads and selfish bitches and shallow as hell, and so not true about us. This is so clear when they say that someone who strawberry blonde which is a lighter red isn't a true redhead umm hello they are red just like every other hair color out there-there is different shades of the color. Now yes redhead is rare in the world, but that doesn't make us better than anyone else just more unique. the overall message is to just love yourself and it not worth all the drama to try to be something your not. Now I did take away a few points for the way it painted redheads and more for the way the mother handle things I hate it when a parent tells a child that they gave up or sacrifice their life for that child the child didn't ask to be here the parent made the choice to have unprotected sex so stop saying it up to the child to keep the family safe. With that rant done I gave this book 3 stars it was just average to me the idea special but the storytelling is not special and I got mad a few times and had to stop reading it a few times. With that said let me know in the comment below and what your thoughts are of this book07 February, 2019
Book Talk: Book Review (spoiler Alert!!!)
Hey guys, I'm here with a review over Keep Holding On by Susane Colasanti. This book is about Noelle and all the thing that is thrown at her within the tail end of her junior year of high school. She deals with a mother who has checked out for the most part. Jerks at school picking on her as she tries to do her best not to show her mother checked out. Old friends who just want to leave her behind and join everyone else in putting her down. A so call boyfriend two-timing her and keeping her a secret from everyone. Along with all of this a classmate that could have been a friend killing herself. This last thing snaps her out of her funk and makes her want to stand up for herself more. As she becomes done with people picking on her she learns that there are people at her school who does care about her, and will be there for her and stand beside her. This book made me want to continue to read, but also I didn't want this book to end I had a connection to the made care. I personally had a parent check out and like in this fantasy that they had it so fucking hard and the world was out to get them, and I had those thoughts of maybe it best I wasn't around. I will say on that note this book kind of just gloss over self-harm and suicide both are mention or hinted at, but never fully talk about. I will say the edition I got does have sights teens can go to. overall I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars. happy reading and let me know if you read this book and your thoughts on it.

Book Talk: Book Review
Hey fellow readers i'm here with another review this over Carry On by Rainbow Rowell the first book in the Simon Snow series. Oh boy where do i start with this book... I so wanted to love this book and have it be a 5 star read, but sadly it not. I listen to this on Audio book and maybe that was the problem i'm not sure or maybe it was all the pov going on i'm not sure. I had to give this book a 3 star rating and i love fangirl and that well this is the big story see talking about though out the story we get to see what all that hype was about.I'm not sure if it really fell flat or it just not a book to listen to on audiobook. even with that said i did enjoy listening to it and try to piece the story together over all like i've said it was only a three star read, and if you have read it let me know in the comments below what you thought of it and let me know if i should give this book another try.
